Meet the Team
Kari Hansen D'Aboy, MA, CRC
Kari has over 30 years of vocational and management experience. She received her degree in Counseling Psychology from Gonzaga University and a Certificate in Human Services Management from the University of Washington. She is a past President of the Washington Chapter of the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals and has been a Board member for many years. She has been an IARP-sponsored statewide trainer of vocational rehabilitation counselors since 1993. Kari has practiced in private sector vocational rehabilitation in Washington for over 30 years working state fund, self-insured, long term disability, VA, and legal cases. She specializes in training, curriculum development, and human services management issues. Kari is formerly an adjunct professor at The Evergreen State College teaching counseling and management related courses. She currently manages D’Aboy Career Horizons, a worker-owned vocational cooperative based in Olympia, WA.
Lauren Andrews, VRC, CDMS
Lauren graduated with a B.A. degree from The Evergreen State College and began working for D'Aboy Career Horizons as an intern in 2006. In 2010, she obtained her CDMS certification and full VRC status. Lauren enjoys working with injured workers, employers, medical providers, and other professionals involved in workers compensation. In her spare time, she enjoys showing her horse and spending time with family and friends.
Rachel Tuttle, VRC, CDMS
Rachel is a native Washingtonian and a graduate of Saint Martin’s College with a degree in Community Service. Rachel has been working with clients at D'Aboy Career Horizons for almost fifteen years and enjoys the challenges of Vocational Rehabilitation. Rachel is very active with her family, dogs, and horses.
Lauren Turner, VOCATIONAL CONSULTANT
Lauren received her Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from Brandman University. During Lauren’s spare time she volunteers with the 75th Ranger Regiments Family Readiness Group as treasurer for Bravo Company and Key Caller. Lauren enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.
Cameron Stein, VRC, CDMS
Cam is thrilled to be a part of the exceptional staff at DCH. She received her B.A. from the Evergreen State College in 2015, and earned her CDMS certification in 2016. She is a Bay Area transplant and has lived in Washington State since 2012. In her spare time, Cam enjoys live music and comedy.
SherrÉ Rowell, Office Manager
Sherré has been part of the team since 2008. She handles much of the administrative duties. In her off time, she enjoys camping with her family and three dogs.
Brian Ramsdell, VRC, CDMS
Brian was born and raised in Olympia, WA. He graduated from Western Washington University in 2008. He obtained his CDMS certification in 2017, and enjoys helping injured workers in the return to work process. He is married and has two daughters. In his free time, Brian can be found playing golf, playing guitar, reading comic books, and spending time with his family.
LESLIE McCUE, VRC, CDMS
Leslie obtained her B.A. from the Evergreen State College in 2013. By 2015, she found her way into the vocational services world. Leslie takes to heart her responsibility to help others and is passionate about the vocational process. She prioritizes transparency and cooperation with her workers, and enjoys creatively exploring return to work options. In her free time, Leslie volunteers with at-risk youth, coaches her daughter’s Select Fastpitch team, and enjoys spending time with her family.
michelle williams, vOCATIONAL CONSULTANT
Michelle joined D'Aboy Career Horizons in 2017 to provide vocational services to workers injured on the job. She has previously worked in community mental health offering crisis prevention and counseling. Michelle grew up in Yelm, WA and graduated from Saint Martin's University with a B.A. in Psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys playing video games, playing with her cat, and going on walks with her partner.
